The City of Ocala strives to provide leadership to support the cultural arts, enhancing the quality of life for the community as a whole and recommend programs and policies that are a driver for economic development. Cultural Arts programs currently being executed through partnership with community stakeholders include: First Friday Art Walk, Ocala Outdoor Sculpture Competition, and the Student and Emerging Artist Competition. In addition to these programs we utilize our public spaces, both interior and exterior, to provide exhibit space to regional artists and cultural arts organizations.
